It has just been announced that Beazley has been shortlisted for the prestigious Hollis Sponsorship Awards, nominated in the “Sports Sponsorship (under £750k)” category, and will be up against BT (Paralympic World Cup), Etihad (Harlequins RFC) and GE (British Triathlon). The awards ceremony is taking place on 27th March at a black tie event in the London Marriott Grosvenor Square hotel.
With a 40% increase in the number of entries from 2011, the Awards recognise and reward the most creative and effective campaigns to have come out of the sponsorship industry during the last year.
Ian Hoy, Beazley’s Head of Sponsorship, said “The first year of our sponsorship of British Fencing has been a great success and being shortlisted for this award is testament to that. We have been able to engage brokers, clients and employees through many activation activities including special events, athlete branding, PR, photography, branded merchandise and the dedicated microsite. This has enabled a widely recognised association between Beazley and British Fencing. We hope that the campaign has not only been a success for Beazley but has been of huge benefit to British Fencing as well, creating a tangible and positive legacy for the sponsorship.”
British Fencing’s Director responsible for sponsorship added “Being shortlisted for this Hollis Sponsorship Award is fantastic news. The strong partnership that we have built with Beazley has a significant and positive effect on all aspects of the work that we do at British Fencing.”
